What this tool does

The Wheel Spinner & Random Picker turns a list of options into a colourful wheel and spins it to choose one at random. Every option gets an equal slice, so the pick is fair, and you can share the exact list with a link.

How to use it

  1. Open the Wheel Spinner.
  2. Type your options into the box, one per line — the wheel updates as you type.
  3. Press Spin and wait for it to settle on a winner.
  4. Use Shuffle to reorder, or Copy share link to send the list to someone else.

Is it fair?

Yes. Each option occupies an equal wedge of the wheel and the wheel stops at a random angle, so every option has the same chance. The long, easing spin is just for show — it doesn't bias the result.

Sharing your list

Your options are stored in the page's web address. Copy share link copies that URL; whoever opens it sees the wheel pre-filled with the same options — handy for classrooms, teams, and streams.

Where it's handy

  • Teachers picking a student to answer.
  • Deciding what to eat, watch, or play.
  • Running a quick giveaway or raffle on a stream.
  • Choosing who goes first in a game.

Your list stays private

The wheel runs entirely in your browser. Your options live only in the page and the shareable link — nothing is uploaded to a server.

FAQ
