About Andergrove Software

Andergrove Software builds fast, private, browser-based tools and publishes short writing about building software. The goal is simple: genuinely useful utilities that load instantly, work on any device, and respect your privacy.

Privacy by design

Every tool here runs entirely in your browser. When you paste text, drop in an image, or upload a certificate, that data is processed on your own device and is never uploaded to a server. There are no accounts and no sign-ups. It's a deliberate choice — it makes the tools faster, lets many of them work offline, and means your data stays yours.

Lean and fast

The site is plain HTML, CSS, and a little modern JavaScript — no heavy frameworks. Pages are small and load quickly, which is good for you and good for the planet. Where a tool needs a library (for example, to render a QR code or parse Markdown), we bundle a small one locally rather than pulling from a third-party CDN.

How it's funded

The tools are free to use. The site shows unobtrusive ads (via Google AdSense) to cover hosting and development time. See our Privacy Policy for details on cookies and advertising.
