FAQ

What is a d12 used for?

The d12 is the least-used polyhedral die, but it handles big two-handed weapon damage in D&D (the greataxe) and the barbarian’s hit dice. It gives a flat chance of any value from 1 to 12.

Are these d12 rolls really random?

Yes. Each die uses your browser’s cryptographic random generator with rejection sampling, so every face has an exactly equal chance — no modulo bias, no loaded dice.

Does this dice roller run in my browser?

Yes. Every roll happens locally on your device — nothing is uploaded and it works offline once the page has loaded.
